Interpretive Programs

Interpretive programs are offered at Battle of Athens State Historic Site for schools, groups and organizations. Off-site programs are also offered within a 60-mile radius of the historic site. Further distances within the state of Missouri are possible, dependent on staff schedules and the location. Please call 660-877-3871 for more information or to schedule your group.

Tours

Tours of the Thome-Benning House are offered free of charge. From April through October, they are available daily between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If staff are not in the historic area, please inquire at the historic site office. From November through March, tours are available by prior appointment only.

Large groups are encouraged to call ahead and check on the availability of staff members. Please contact historic site staff at 660-877-3871 to make arrangements.
