Temporary Closure Near MM 39.5 - Katy Trail State Park
The trail is temporarily closed east of MM 39.5 and the St. Charles Trailhead between Adams and Olive streets. This closure is needed to allow completion of the city's nearby wastewater system project. Detour signs are posted at that location and will take users onto N. 2nd St. While following the detour, trail users may experience the following: travel over city streets and highways; motor vehicles traveling at high speeds; uneven or loose gravel on road surfaces; and narrow roads and lanes. This section of trail is anticipated to reopen in early April 2012.
